Sci-fi Casio keyboard explorations from “digital hierophant” Christian Filardo, the man behind the tape label Holy Page. These very well could have been A-sides for the soundtrack to a cartoon version of The Terminator or a Tracey Trance/Alex Barnett collaboration in disguise. All tracks instrumental. FCC CLEAN
1. (5:37) Spooky minor-chord creepy-crawly synth. Lo-fi and rumbly.
2. (13:02) Moody Vangelis, sci-fi romp through the Alpha Quadrant. Slow pulses of synth, which later get a little more peppy and psychedelic. Undoubtedly inspired by fistfuls of shitty garage sale sci-fi books with those inexplicably kickass covers.
*3. (7:18) Staticy keyboard, gurgly effects and a psychedelic meltdown in the last 2 min or so. Well worth the weight.
*4. (5:06) Blistering synthesizer chords blended with a bit of early Animal Collective and the sheer velocity of Megabats, Kontinent, Sundrips, etc. Nice jungly vibes with bird calls and bush rustlings.
