indie pop/80's sweet twee lounge revival
it's poppy, it's girly... yeah, I love it.
best description is: what if madder rose didn't come off so pissed off and depressed, and, was happy and/or innocent for a change? singer is american, but has british singing accent (heavy 80's brit influences. smiths are biggest namecheck for this sound) sounds most like madder rose's or blonde redhead's singer. lush arrangements, horns are everywhere.
=it's lounge music for people who write a lotta poems.

any track here will seduce you with it's sweet, sweet pop.

4. a sad little number. slowed down, builds momentum.
*5. angular begin, gets upbeat, almost new wavey.
6. slow and slitty. haunting, but fun.
