Oneohtrix Point Never – Replica (Mexican Summer) Bladerunnercore artist’s release on one of our favorite labels. Flying Lotus like syncopation but more ambient, synthetic and horny. You can hear the influence of his poppier project, Games. 1. (3:56) watery with bugs, sea gulls, door bells and owls. @~0:35 Abrupt switch to tribal drums. Abrupt end 2. (3:10) sex. driving bass on Cosmograma. 3. (3:30) discordant, skittery, lo-fi piano, horns, bass, involved 4. (3:19) new age ohmmmm start, incoming samples, repetitive 5. (4:37) melancholic. Piano 6. (4:43) video game with bubbles, dogs, laser guns and females humming. Starts medium fast and slowwwws down 7. (3:50) long extended waves. Slowly submerging yourself in the ocean ultimately finding pretty fishes 8. *(3:57) Up he jumped in search of something. Polyrhythmic (I think). Big full sound. Long outro with pretty piano with ~0:40 left fades into 9. (3:14) Abrupt start, harsh, very syncopated 10. (6:41) Dolphins and waves and glitches weaving in and out | ||
