Two Tears 7"

Holy shit its one of the women from THE RED AUNTS (!). “Kerry Davis, dropped out of sight before moving to New York, where she eventually reinvented herself in the raw primitive garage-punk combo Two Tears” sez the one-sheet. Red Aunts were a Long Beach band of 4 women that ran entirely on the fumes of passion and nerve and spirit and tore every house they played in down. This project has elements of them, is raw, garagey. Great stuff for fans of Holly Golightly especially. John Spencers Blues Explosion here and there. These CD-R’s accompanied the 7” vinyl versions from Kind Turkey that I hang my head in shame to admit fell victim to the weird little heat wave we had a week or so ago.


1) upbeat bouncy
2) slightly more rockin tone, gets into a driving fade-out to end the record side
3) slow bluesy wail, senso unico, “I hate my life”
