Psychy, garagy rock. Kranky’s rock band out of Chicago continues to deliver reverbed-out, motorik-informed druggy rock. Fuzz-centric post-punk, noisy, chanty, swaggering rock from a bunch of Neu! idolizers. For fans of Sic Alps, Wooden Shjips, and White Hills. FCC on 3.

1. Upbeat, shouty, and hooky stomp. (3:13)
*2. Psychedelic textures and fluid kraut rhythm section, pretty much a Wooden Shjips song with different vocals. (3:54)
3. Echoey, druggy haze with persistent bass, monotone vocals, FCC “shit.” (2:47)
4. Understated percussion, droney single chord build, spacey. (3:16)
*5. Major kraut groove here. Lengthy, hazy odyssey of tribal pulses, delayed guitars, and crunchy distortion. (15:58)
6. Jangly, warm, poppy, almost JAMC, but still enough tension within the chords, psychedelic finish. (1:52)
