Happy guitar pop, a bit on the silly side. Irresistable. Full of innocence and some retro '60s charm; puts a big smile on your face. Amateurish and likeable male vocals, sweet female backing vox, lots of guitar strumming and hopping beats. And... is that an accordion? Oh, and every song is about bees. Brutally obvious *FCC* on 8. The rest seems safe. 1- Cute! "Honeybees never sleep, but we should." 2- A chugging '50s three-chord feel. Sunny, happy. 3- Up & poppy 4- Bouncy. About how robber bees are total jerks. 5- Poppy, with a serious slowish into & spacey effects 6- Charged pop; Greek mythology! Catchy & smart. 7- Happy skipping through a field. 8- *FCC* (duh). Slowish feel. 9- Super happy and lovey and all. Quite '60s. Midtempo. 10- Slowish upbeat swaying, a bit dramatic. 11- Ooo, serious minor-key. Gets nice & poppy soon enough. 12- Kinda silly/sad. It's a sad winter wail, but they sing "Our house is cold" in such cutesy voices. 13- Chugging pop. Takes a couple seconds to get started. | ||
