This band is so good, I cant believe I found this languishing on the review shelf. A dash of horror rock mixes in with acid drenched psyche and noise rock with a melodic sense and even beats that venture into a tropical calypso Stewart Copeland realm. Good complexity. Love and Rockets came to mind somehow even though they don’t sound like them. Maybe just the creative mixing up of stuff. Great band, do not miss!
1) (2:45) FCC? I didn’t catch it…very quiet first 15 secs, then fades in to 2/4 upbeat near punky noise rock that switches to 12 bar boogie woogie without warning
2) (2:13) strange fun upbeat feel, psyche tremelo’ed guitar laying down sludge background kills
3) (2:13) ballady mellow, echoey and fucked up even without the intense beats and distortion
4) (2:21) funny tropical beat gone haywire, beat goes garage midway, cool as shit
5) (1:21) stop go, skippy beat
6) (3:49) dark ballad, very spooky, expect to see ghosts and witches and junkies, surf beat awesome
7) (2:57) very different production, with a farfisa this could pass as 60’s psyche-garage love ballad
8) (2:48) wow, swings from a thrashy drum to a swingy lovely thing, really great, best track?
9) (1:51) pitchchanged keys, great tone, upbeat tropical pounding again
10) (2:05) organ themed upbeat bouncy
11) (2:07) the tropical upbeat thing again, dissonant guitar work, urgent
12) (2:51) slight dubby, backbeat rhythm glossed over with strange atmospheric organ and echoes
13) (1:38) upbeat, pounding and fun
