New wave/punkish pop. Brooklyn boy/girl duo. Vocals usually in first channel, above instrumentation. Striving to sound like Blondie, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Slightly boring, start with 6,9,11. FCC Clean.
1.Midtempo. Poppy disco. Sounds like a watered down Robyn.
2.Midtempo. Poppy punk. Apprehensive verses, strained guitar riffs.
3.Downtempo. Steady backbeat. Never really takes off or builds. Foreboding.
4.Upbeat. Plain new wave disco sound. Poppy and dramatic.
5.Upbeat. Pleading vocals, à la Karen O, quick halting guitar riffs.
†6.Downtempo. Halting melody courtesy of synths. Noises in background- interesting alternation of vocals on different channels. Echoes, clapping.
7.Midtempo. Sunshiny. Plain disco with falsetto vocals in chorus.
8.Upbeat. Punkish. Dramatic vocals, pseudo guitar solos in chorus.
†9.Upbeat. Fun guitar riff, flirty vocals. Strategically placed pauses, synth.
10.Upbeat. Plain punkish beat. Cooing vocals.
†11.Downbeat. Subdued vocals, throbbing guitar line. Priestly & unexpected.
