955391 What happens when a musician with Irish roots settles down in Scotland? You get an interesting mix of Celtic music. Aptly named "Tune In," Nuala Kennedy's album is worth tuning in for a listen. There is a definite element of traditional Celtic music infused in her songs. Try 1, 2, 5, 8, 10 1. Lilting Irish sounds from Flautist Nuala Kennedy. Just right to do a fast paced tap dance. 2. Delightful ditty. Kind of peppy. 3. Slow & thoughtful love song. 4. Opening tunes have a hint of Bolero influence & then the Irish vocals come in. Shades of a sea shanty? 5. An utter delight this lilting tune played on a flute. 6. Slow. A traditional Celtic sounding tune. 7. Slow & interesting song about books in her library. 8. Lovely tune that reminds you of old Irish songs. 9. Slow & mellow tune. 10. Strong jazz overtones in the beginning and then the celtic music takes over. Interesting & long instrumental number. The last 5 minutes are worth listening. |
