One of the two best records I've discovered reviewing here. Alt-country meets slowcore, balancing a fun couple of rowdier moments with gorgeous, enthralling slow rock tracks. Subtly piercing male vocals like Scott McCaughey of the Minus 5 blended with Jay Farrar of Son Volt. Great variety of stuff, great arrangements, play the hell out of it. Everything is fantastic and my slight preferences keep changing, but I guess start with 1 or 5 if you're here for alt-country and 9 for slowcore or indie. FCC safe.
