The Brazilian superstar’s 41st album. The foundation is samba. The filter is rock. Sexy vocals, hip arrangements and compositions and surprisingly intimate and then, out of nowhere, comes an electric guitar or a bit of funk. Unpredictable and all so good.

*1. Sleepy, sexy, and light with a deceptively simple sound.
*2. Warm and sweet w/e-guitar keeping things from getting dull.
3. Dreamy trip w/subtle accents of jazz and a hint of spaciness.
4. Midtempo ramble w/a solid beat that picks up power. Cool.
*5. Flat out rock from the start w/fast vocals and power.
*6. Funky protest song, anti Guantanamo. Downtempo & hip.
7. Mid/upbeat w/dreamy vocals and a dark sensibility.
8. Midtempo w/a driving beat and great grungy bits at end.
*9. Mid/upbeat w/solid e-guitar jams and falsetto vocals.
10. Fast and jangly, cool work from the ultra hip band.
*11. Mid/uptempo sophisticated modern samba rock.
12. Midtempo w/some dreamy keyboards.
*13. Sweet modern samba w/a sound both modern & retro.
