Ergo: Multitude, Solitude FCC: Clean (reviewed by “Uncle Steve”)
Instrumental only. Reminiscent of extended improvisional jazz/rock fusion of the 1970s (Miles Davis goes electric, etc.). Free meter (mostly slow). Trombone & Fender Rhodes are featured prominently.
Overall: Nicely produced. Talented instrumentalists. Definitely worth a listen if it fits within your “format”.
Recommended Tracks: 3 (starts with brass choir sounds, slow & dreamy, then builds & retreats), 4 (muted brass, cymbals, Fender Rhodes featured in a slow piece), 6 (a series of crescendos & diminuendos. Very Miles-esque).
