Poppy melodic, melancholic & sometimes ethereal hard rock (not quite metal) from Norway. Soaring female vocals with some very catchy but odd-metered songs. Sort of like Faun Fables, recent Katatonia crossed with Tool?
(((1))) Lots of quiet vs. loud with a wide range of vocal styles and guitar tones. Thudding riffs near the end.
(((2))) Poppy accapella, downtuned heavy rock guitars to more quiet vs. loud. Some interesting parts here & there.
(((((3)))))) Super catchy ballad with some power behind it. A solid, “should be” hit.
((((4)))) Laid back but with several interesting, burst of loud but drags a bit with excess of pinch harmonics & histrionic vocals.
((5)) Low end bombast with soaring vocals. Way too many stop/starts & off-putting vocals.
((6)) Bassy, odd-metered rhythmic ethereal, modern rock.
(((7))) Slow, spacious ballad-y, with some slightly
jazzy guitar & bass work. Gets loud @ 4:20.
((((8)))) Nice jazzy guitar work with a metalish flurries ‘ala ‘Maiden/Mastadon underneath and additional jazzy vocals.
((((9)))) Interesting poppy, hard-ish rock that soaring through the sky & floats in different crests and waves.
((10)) Modern metalish with WAY too much pinch harmonics. Very good vocals but pretty clunky tune.
((((11)))) Nice mid-pace melancholic, modern rock with original guitar tone/patterns.
((((12)))) Slow ambient intro, modern, twisted/turny, etheral prog-metalish stuff that gets into a ‘groove’ an stays in it. Airy vocals.
