Sax/bass/drums free-jazz trio. A very jazzy sound, especially considering the whole thing's improvised. Saxophone takes the lead voice, in a gruffly angular style, blowing hard. There's more of a concrete melody on 2 and 4.
- Brisk, high energy. Fairly fast drum solo, into a fast boppin' segment that gets into some gruffly angular sax. A big, stormy drum solo near the end.
- Soulful in its melody. Fast sax in a happy and ritualistic mode. Second half more shrieky. Some bass solos serve as interludes. Ends with a good sax solo, then tiny squeaky whistles. Try the first 7-8 minutes as an excerpt.
- Slower, mellow. A quiet free wandering for all three instruments.
- Bouncy and swingy!
