Afro beat, Fela Kuti influenced, named for Hideo Nomo Japanese baseball player, home brew instruments & electronics, from Ann Arbor MI. Videos on www./last.fm/music/Nomo very cool group, hope they make it to SF soon.

3: 3:43 Afro beat, driving percussion lots of wailing brass
***4: 6:50 mellow mid to fast percussion & flute thing
5: 5:36 mellow Afro pop percussion, lots of brass
****6: 5:22 cool sounds from e guitar?? brass & percussion, chorus or electronics. Great mixing of sounds into an almost drone. Very cool tune.
***7: 3:49 mellow screaming blend almost drone.
8: 3:43 brass'& instrument noodling, at end almost foghorn sax
