New York minimal classical with new-age jazz flavor. Pieces slowly evolve.
1. Calm-before-the-storm synth, flutes, acoustic bass, percussion etc, unfamiliar tonality. Sounds like they’re using a palette of “out there” jazz sound in a modern music discipline.
2.Awakening. Meandering clarinet and jittery cymbals over synth washes
3.Active in bursts. Melodies from previous track on flute, bassier clarinet. Interesting percussion rhythms
4.Flute plays a few high notes repeatedly, Morse-like, over gently lapping synth
5.Full band, sense of awakening similar to 2 but bassier and gets more wakeful by 2nd half.
