For The Whole World To See

Proto-punk/high energy rawk from 1974 recently unearthed. Made by 3 African-American brothers from Detroit. 7 songs and not a single bum moment. It’s a damn shame a band like this didn’t last longer and coulda fended off that “blacks don’t rock” bullshit that persisted in the mid-late 70’s. (Typically made by idiots that thought Boston was the end all, be all of music). Somehow they managed to mix the Stooges, MC5, Arthur Lee’s Love and even a ur-version of Bad Brains (especially on “Politicians In My Eyes”). Awesome in many ways and TOTALLY worth your time.

(((((1))))) Energetic seriously ROCKIN’ 70’s hard rock/proto punk mix.
((((((2)))))) KILLER, over the top, punk with a wild chorus. Tons of great guitar parts and handclaps in the pre-chorus. The Stooges crossed with Bad Brains.
((((((3))))))) Very nice psych rock into hard rockin’ punk number reminiscent of Love with Arthur Lee.
(((((((4)))))))) Wild, outta control yet extremely catchy.
((((((((5)))))))) FAST & totally charged up punk ‘ala The Damned or Bad Brains. Fantastic!
((((((6)))))) Varied tempos with lots of bombastic riffs and amazing vocals & infectious chorus.
(((((((7)))))))) Twangy intro, bass then some crazy Bad Brains (before the fact!) type of punk with a great melodic chorus and driving riffing. Excellent lyrics, too.
