Tex Mex guitar songs. Blues tinge, country twang, broken hearts, and tequila. Nice little band with a couple guitars and mandolin -- not stripped-down, but it's more about dusty roadside bars than crowded big-city clubs. Occasional keyboards add a modern change of sound. Carrasco is a longtime musical warrior, great to see him still at it. *FCC* on 6, massively so. 1- Mexican folky, mid/fast. Fun, even though it's a breakup song 2- Sentimental mid/fast with synth 3- Rolling mid/fast, pleasant 4- Inst. Midtempo spaghetti Western, mondo Morricone 5- Sharp-dressed midtempo step. Twangy. 6- *FCC* all over the place, but pretty funny. 7- Slow, pretty 8- Very country midtempo 9- Inst. Deep echoey Western. Slow. 10- Playful hangover song. Lyrics kinda random. 11- Sad mid/fast. Life-ruined-by-love song. 12- Inst. Tough buillfighting guitar. 13- Upbeat country/blues twang. "I did not lose my old lady, I just lost my place in line" 14- Instrumental version of 1. Kind of happy. 15- Beer-drinkin' rocker. 16- Slow instrumental. Flowing strings later. HIDDEN - Around -14:50, a pleasant bouncy jam with keyboards that goes on for 13 minutes. |
