Fairly untypical metalcore/deathcore mix with the twists & turns of Gorijra, Meshuggah and the epic vibe of Book of Black Earth. Lots of interesting suprises and plenty of good riffs. Very loud production

(1) Loop of static, typical intro theme” stuff
(((2))) Fast & bombastic melo-death that actually works pretty well. Decent vocal range & variation in the riffs.
(((3)) WTF? A Deicide riff then kinda OK but mostly clunky & typical deathcore. I swear he’s singing “I will always hate the roast”.
((((4)))) Big, epic riff ‘ala Amon Amarth then blasting death metal & some nice flourishes throughout.
((((5)))) Lunging, traditional, melodic yet modern melo-death, steady & overall rather good.
((((6)))) Blasting, fast to doomy riffs, some melodic singing (not that horrid “emo” singing though) and lots of unexpected changes.
(((7))) Durable blasting, deathcore, with some ok shifts in pace.
((((8)))) Weirdly starts off like Carcass’ “Death Certificate”(!) then goes crazy off that main riff eventually changing it up a little with a few quick stop/starts. Some definite points for the guitars, not so much for the vox.
((9)) Melodic, pinging drums, so-so at best “Ready for Hot Topic & Headbanger’s Ball” deathcore.
((10)) Mellow piano outro, good playing but pretty much necessary on this type of album
