Indie pop, upbeat and happy. Good, bright stuff with lots of airy, pretty, rock-out tracks; faster songs sometimes carry some tones of old '50s rock. Other songs have a more Dylan-electric-folk feel, with folky strumming and/or harmonica. Shaky unpolished male vocals that sound quite good. FCC clean although some listeners will object to "goddamn." 1- Bright airy strumming 2- Fast straight rock. (Weird intro.) 3- Good fast beat, jangly. 4- Mid/fast, rolling. Electric folk? 5- Small, mid/fast love song *FCC* ("goddamn") 6- Fast instrumental, flitting melody. 7- Mid/fast 8- Mid/fast, a folky hippie rock vibe 9- Ooo, airy chorus after snappy verses. Upbeat break-up song. 10- Gentle acoustic, mid/fast pace 11- Mid/fast chugging beat 12- Whoa, very '70s action-flick sound. Echo chamber! 13- Light, fast-thumping beat, quite poppy. Semi-*FCC* ("god damn") 14- Modern sounds over old-world accordion. Slowish. 15- Folky slowness 16- Screwy calliope, howling "oooh" vocals (instrumental) 17- Simple tune with wild/fast guitars almost out of control 18- Minor key w/piano. Nicely big, dramatic sound 19- Pleasant country/folk 20- Midtempo. A touch of sunset: lap steel guitar & harmonica 21- Peppy, fast 22- Folky, wistful. Fairly fast. | ||
