Abe Vigoda- Skeleton
These guys kinda sound like "tropical punk". I think it's the drums that add the tropical essence. Most of these songs I couldn't make out the lyrics, but i read all the lyrics, and they are all FCC clean. The lyrics are really peculiar, almost sounds like poetry when read, a lot of stuff about death, good stuff though.
*1. This song has nice vibes, kind of a jungle rock .
2. Faster, yet another weird beat. These guys are "punk" but they don't really sound it, this is one of their lighter songs.
3. Nice, plain ol' rock, kind of a long fade at the end.
4. Very weird, scratchy, kind of sounds like airplanes taking off. Nothing like the rest of their songs.
**5. Yet another rockin' song, this is probably one of their more punk sounding songs...
6. Maybe my synapses aren't connecting, but this sounds a lot like another song of theirs... It sounds like #2 sped up. They still manage to throw some tropic in there.
7. Yet another good song of theirs, this one is a contender for punkest song of theirs. Weird fade out.
*8. Has a funky (as in weird AND groovy) beat. This song's heaviness fluctuates throughout the song, they make it work though.
9. Pretty fast, pretty cool, one of the few songs that you can make out (some of) the lyrics.
10. Very fast, sounds like a lot of their other songs. Has some weird yelling/shrieking? in the middle.
11. Odd sounding song, vocals kind of fade in and out. Yet another jungle groove. Ends abruptly.
12. Sounds kind of Indian (like the country, not Native Americans).
*13. Easy listening tropical punk song. Simple and good. Gets louder and better with some alien abduction sounds as the song progresses. Kind of long annoying fade.
14. Doesn't sound like their other songs; it doesn't really have a tropical feel to it, just rock. This one also has an abrupt ending.
