Son Of The Sun

Electronic music with male vocs, simplistic melodies and drum machine beats bring to mind the joy of early Human League, OMD, early 80’s “synth bands”, but with an overall dark tone like what Joy Division was headed into, what the first New Order did. Cool stuff from Croatia (we have a live cd of this band in the library that is really good).

1) slow plod, gothy drama
2) new wavey electro synth with vocs, minimal drums
3) simple drum machine, synth melody, Human League really coming to mind
4) that synth, (Korg is it?), bass melody with treated vocs, harmonica 5) simple hip hop beat and vocal sense, very minimal
6) simple new wave synth upbeat, Human League again
7) simple, with dark feel then pretty synth melody
8) dark mechanical synth beat, ploddy with cool electronic noises
9) very simple again, almost a Young Marble Giants feel in the melodic synth/organ
10) more collage-like, swirling tones, a beat builds, very cool
