Battle Lords

Fast, aggressive death metal from Rhode Island. This has ex-members of Vital Remains. The production is loud & clear but thankfully not glossy and obvious. Mostly on top of their game.

((((1)))) Some nice aggressive and cyclical riffing, mixed up tempos.
((((2)))) Fast and steady with blend of high pitched and low growling vocals.
(((3))) Riffy and Morbid Angel-ish. Not bad but kinda tepid death metal.
(((4))) Not too different from track #3 but with some thicker riffs and sputtering drums.
((((5)))) Slow and sluggish DM eventually builds to some good speed & pretty capitvating stuff.
((((6)))) Thrashy, death metal with good drumming and riffs.
(((7))) Pretty good mix of black metal and death metal.
((((8)))) Pummeling, hammering beat-heavy death metal.
