French death metal with good aggressive, (at times) technical riffing. The vocals lie somewhere between Donald Tardy’s vomit filled mouth and Helmuth from Belphegor. Generally good and gets the job done without being too forceful or annoying. Also gets some points for clear production.
(((1))) Fast, aggressive but pulls back at times.
((((2)))) Bombastic, squirrely soloing into mid-paced to speedy Morbid Angel-like decents into the abyss.
((((3)))) Really interesting time changes in the riffs, tons of retching vocals and a good doomy breakdown.
((((4)))) Speedy with lots of stop & starts all over and plenty of blast beats & good breakdowns.
(((((5))))) Weird percussive intro like Z’ev (!?), eventually becomes “undead marching the earth at 80mph” death metal. Really layered and stands out pretty well.
((((6)))) Great opening riff that thins the line between black & death metal. Ugly but memorable sound - the way it should be. Like old Darkthrone crossed with Immolation.
(((7))) Pretty good mix of the stop-start tempos into blasting DM with a bit of tremelo riffing.
(((((8))))) Classy riff almost weirdly hardcore or even punk-influenced Black Metal mixed with death metal pummel and even a total 80’s breakdown at 2:24. Kick ass!
((((9)))) Really wild riffing into total blasting inferno and back again. Ripper!
