Your Imaginary Friend

Electronic/laptop style experiments. Mostly chill, incorporating lots of familiar Mooglike waveforms, modulations. Some tracks qualify as “electro” with beats, but none are over the top “dance” things. Many of these feel just like ideas, incomplete or lost tracks waiting to be utilized or mixed into some other form. Most are radio friendly length and would serve well as segues or even soundbeds. Some have real narcotic beauty and should be played regardless.
FCC clean, my picks: 3, 10, 14
1) randomized quintessential “electronic” sounds, like a 50’s idea of what a computer would “sound” like
2) sparse, low fi
3) swirling sounds layer stereophonically lush and pretty, hypnotic and colorful, psychedelic
4) dark, minimal
5) moog “computerlike” again with a dance beat
6) very chill restrained creepy noise
7) tangerine dream proto-new age electronic space music
8) cool looping tones and blips create a fun and simple rhythm
9) soundtracky intro feel, builds slightly but feels more like an idea, a track
10) droney windy feel, lonely tones looping
11) beat feels almost reggae, synth layers definitely aren’t
12) chill “electro” samba
13) looping electronic sound/theme
14) more of an ambient old-school “space music” feel, very sublime
15) 17 minutes of repetitive stereo imaged quick loops with underlying subliminal undertones, doesn’t change for all intents and purposes the whole time
16) glacially slow to appear and evolve low tones, drone, ultra chill, 20 minutes of narcotic bliss
17) brief voice sample
