12 very cinematic, moody and ethereal guitar-based tracks (11 instrumentals). Features the work of Brian John Mitchell (Remora). This features collaborations with Jessica Bailiff, Jon DeRosa (Aarktica) Mike VanPortfleet (Lycia), Nathan Amundson (Rivulets), Jesse Edwards (Red Morning Chorus). Not too far from say, Roy Montgomery which is always a good thing.
((((1)))) Nice “slow-rock/sad core” strum with occasional effects.
(((((2))))) Trippy, hynoptic Eastern-influenced psych.
(((3))) Shimmery guitar noodling.
((((4)))) Warbly, blurry guitar sound with a nice tempo. Bailiff’s violin playing is a good touch.
(((5))) Cyclical chords and other layers of guitar coming and go through the mix.
((((6)))) Sticks to the simple, loud & strummy
formula and works very well.
((((7)))) Sparsely picked strings into a more structured song like pattern.
(((((8)))) Short but sweet ethereal pop number with female vocals, piano and guitar.
((((9)))) Minimal, mellow & languid, low toned guitar picking.
((((10)))) Ambient backed, chilled out piece. Very nice to listen to at 2am when you're coming back from a show (or the bar).
