Abstract improv, trio of violin, sax, drums. Great stuff built of long stretches of cohesive mood -- it's improvised but often has more of a "jam" feel even though it's tuneless, abstract stuff with no set meter.
Live recordings -- tracks have applause but fade down themselves.
1- (14:49) Fairly fast start, an active midlevel flow that builds at gets furious by about the 9 minute mark, then throttles back down. Ends rather abruptly; light applause.
2- (9:42) Straight, with Asian and bluesy sounds. A slow meditation that sticks to jazzy forms and gets fast before the end.
3- (17:44) Drums rule: Fairly fast throughout, but relatively quiet, with the drums putting up a fast, light patter almost constantly. One loud blip just before the halfway point. Cool drum solo late in the game.
