Straight up thrashy, melodic & catchy Viking/Death Metal from Sweden. The usual but always addictive fare of big charging riffs, gruff (but getting more understandable) vocals and lyrics in honor of the Norsemen & their gods. Two Viking horns up!
(((((1))))) Huge sound with simple but workable riffs and good vocals.
((((((2))))) A dragon boat aimed at the seas, deep vocals, nice epic, melodic guitars.
(((((3))))) Fast, thrashin’ and pummeling like Hammer of Thor! Killer solo to boot.
((((4)))) Wide open, melodic feeling like one of the better moments of Manowar by way of epic death metal.
(((5))) “Typical” Amon Amarth, melodic death, “gods of war” number. Not bad but still feels like “the AC/DC of Viking metal” here.
(((((6))))) Stormy, rhythmic, pounding like a battle ram. Just pure fuckin’ METAL! Onward to battle!
(((((7)))) Melodic & speedy, the second guitar makes it really work with Mr. Hegg’s brOOtal vocals.
(((8))) This is OK but kinda weird almost like a “Viking death metal ballad”?
(((((9))))) Totally headbangin’ riff, frost giant vocals, and a tempo the sails smooth on the wings of Oden’s ravens.
