Bright, lyrical koras; warm, sweet guitars, great vocals. All around, a delicious release. Varies from Malian blues to fairly traditional Griot tracks. Lovely stuff all-round. *1. Sweet, midtempo Senegalise w/great guitar & vox. So good. 2. Midtempo w/high female vox and cool percussion/guitar. 3. Sweet kora, soaring male vox, fem chorus. Midtempo. *4. Glorious kora duet. Relaxed, expertly played. Instrumetal. *5. Great male vox backed by strings/perc. Downtempo, powerful. *6. Sweet, bouncy balafon/guitar, great soaring vocal bits. Chorus. *7.
