Solo piano compositions, a jazzy sound but drawing from classical experience, it sounds like. Middling and slow tempos, kind of a recital atmosphere. Not ear-grabbing at first glance; maybe it would grow on me after a deeper listen.
Track 7 is interesting -- a blues form intentionally slowed down to create some interesting counterpoint. Sounds like something Lennie Tristano would do.
