Solo works for piano. I enjoyed the album – it’s accessible while remaining interesting and lighthearted. Noland doesn’t take himself too seriously, which makes for a fun listen. Can’t go wrong here, just depends on your mood.

1. Spirited, staccato piece – kind of exciting.
2. Lots of light flurry in the high keys over a very slow, low, base.
3. Piece seemed familiar for some reason – sort of a Romantic Bach (maybe?)
4. Boiling, sometimes frenetic piano.
5. Has a solid feeling to it compared to some of the lighter pieces, but it’s not heavy.
6. Lively piece with moments of silent-film score (both comedy and some slightly more dramatic moments).
7. Fast, strolling, Gershwin feel. Gets intense.
8. Fun, fast, short piece.
9. A little more sparse, relaxed, but still has plenty of movement (especially in higher keys).
10. Lots going on in a short piece – a lot of notes, moments of dark tension, moments of light-hearted, trotting-along.
11. Jazziest piece on the album, but still a classical feel overall.
12. Chaotic, turbulent piece. Left and right hands often going off in different directions.
