Girl dark folk, acoustic alt. country. Very pretty great poetry that’s a little cliché. But if you’re in the mood for something dark and slow then this is for you. It’s pretty calming, too. Nice background music. All tracks are good.
Track One: Pretty guitar arpeggios. Full fem vox. Slow. Sounds like more than one girl. Slow, folky. A little bit of Joni Mitchell harmonies. Maybe alt. country.
Track Two: Midtempo. Distorted guitar. Minor. But uplifting at parts. Kind of switches back and forth. Heartbreaking coming of age, living on your own.
Track Three: Starts out with vocals. Heartbreaking lyrics. But also music that you can multi-task to. If you’re in a mood to hear depressing strummy guitar…
Track Four: Darker. Heavier guitar. Slow tempo.
