UK Indie pop/punk with high pitched vocals, and some
crazy fuzzy static guitar. Boyracer has been making
albums in the indie rock pop scene for almost 15 years
and they are still banging out that good stuff. This
album is quite hyper, yet subdued with
screechy/buzz-filled music mixed with soft and light
vocals, which might be why it’s called “Insults &
Insights”. If punky pop rock music is your thang, this
is your album. Have fun. Lyrics range from poetic punk
to lovey dovey pop. Not all FCC Clean. Track 1 says
“hell” and track 4 says “fucking.”

Beezher’s pics: 1, 3, 5, and 6

1.(1:59): intrumental-uptempo acoustic/buzz guitar,
wild percussive bits, screechy ending
2.(3:36): mid-tempo, fun rhythm guitars, light vocals
matching guitar melody, fuzzy solo
3.(2:45): fast-paced punk in your face, high vocals
contrast wild scratchy guitars
4.(5:46): light acoustic guitar, smooth bass,
spring-like track, ends w/ scratchyness!
5.(1:29): intsrumental-coffee buzzed, nicely layered
guitars, (harsh/soft), nice mix
6.(2:32): poppy and boppy, soft vocals, fun percussion
7.(1:56): sweet sounding, fuzzy wuzzy pop punk, short
and simple
8.(2:48): heavy fuzz guitar, screechy and static
sounds, starts and ends loudly
