Acoustic, quiet, relaxing (call it new age if you wish), reflective retrospective of solo guitar compositions from Will Ackerman, guitar veteran and music businessman (Windham Hill). He picked his most "representative" pieces (according to the extensive liner notes), ranging from 1970 to 1998. Track 5 is the only duet. All beautiful if you’re into this kind of stuff. Stanford connection according to allmusic.com: "Ackerman composed guitar music for Stanford University theater productions, and the encouragement of friends led him to record [his first album]".
