I LOVE THIS RECORD! Buckner’s newest is brillant, catchy melodies, beautiful lyrics, patient and at the same time crafty songwriting and just awesome production. Buckner is sort of a troubadour with his raspy fluttery voice and is eloquent guitar playing. He’s been known to hang with the Calexico boys down in Tucson. I cant stop listening to this record. Buckner knows how to use space to his advantage and he does it so well. This is Richard Buckner fully realized. WHOLE ALBUM IS RAD –the bAWd of eUPHONY
**(4:50) a great song, acoustic strumming begins, then great drop beat enters with Buckner’s signature fluttery voice. Catchy as hell
**(3:04) Beautiful song. Simple guitar mocking buckner’s singing. Some texture in the background as well.
**(3:57) I love this song, slow and rootsy love song. Very moody
**(2:16) Another great track. !2 string guitar and Vox. Piano adds some melody along with Organ. No drums. Great stuff
**(5:00) This is a standout pop number. Moody melody, great beat. Coasts along with great guitar work and singing.
***(3:10) This is my FAVORITE track on the record. Moody Organ and Guitar drones with Buckner chanting over the top. Feels real deep like a chief addressing his tribe.
*(3:25) Beautiful pop song. Guitar, voice, dobro, piano
*(2:50) Rockin pop number. Cool drop beat and shaker. Rocks out a bit
**(2:00) Swingy old timey feel. Beautiful
***(3:54) Very very cool song. Repeated organ line over drones. Swelling Timani like drum fills build up then stop. Very unique in sound. Hopeful song
