Quartet of improvisers producing thoughtful, abstract stuff. A sparse feel on many tracks; the band tends to have a relaxed and pensive feel. All acoustic instruments: sax, trombone, violin, bass.
- Slow/mid, sparse. Healthy low sax + sprinkling of mystic violin
- Quiet start, gets cooking in the last minute
- Some melodic stretches of violin. Steady flow with a quiet segment
- Aggressive, tumbling
- Often quiet, with a couple of fast squealy segments
- Slow and growly
- High and twirly start, then quieter. Fast chirpy ending.
- Slow
- Perky in spots, including some nice moments for violin and sax.
