Interesting trio free-jazz session with veteran Dave Liebman on sax. The pieces are based on composed lines from Liebman, which launch some nice jazz improvising that gets fairly aggressive but stays restrained.

As often happens with these kinds of sessions, the longest tracks are the most interesting -- in this case, the main "Line Ish" segments rather than the interludes.

Bianco in particular is impressive; he's got a light, deft touch on the drums. You can hear more of him on a duet album with Paul Dunmall that's in the library.

1- Some blazing sax/drums backed by a morose bassline. Nice effect. Includes a long, fast drum solo near the end.
2- Bass solo
3- Quiet, calm, with piano instead of sax. Second half is noiser, a sparkling little storm.
4- Sax solo: quiet, shrieky, shrill
5- Fairly fast attack
6- Very quiet group improv, later pierced by shrill flute.
7- Quiet solo on cymbals
8- A calmer level of free jazz above frenetic drums. Opens with a long and impressive drum solo
