Local grindcore. Blistering fast, tight, amazing drumming, and even catchy. Brutal! Small hardcore influence, but not much. This is their 2nd release and damn have they improved. Not that the first album was bad, just that this shreds. Complicated time changes, riffs that go all over the place and vocals that go from high screams to guttural growls. Political and/or social lyrics and short songs. Think Pig Destroyer and Benumb.
2. Really low vocals and screamed vocals you can somewhat understand. Heavy.
**3. Fast with lots of quick changes and bursts of speed.
**4. Slow heavy opening riff and the drums show off a bit then heavy old school sounding grindcore riff and a melodic breakdown.
**5. Reminds me a bit of HeWhoCorrupts. Fast and chaotic.
6. Starts out with a thin sounding punk sound and this track does have more of a punk/hardcore feel but they still blast away a few times. Some techie guitar tricks.
**7. Fast and pummeling right from the start. Metal guitar run, into quick solo, back to grind. Vocal samples.
**8. A bit heavier, if you can believe it. More of a death metal guitar riff. Does get to grindcore.
9. Straight ahead grind.
10. Straight forward medium paced riff before you’re hit with everybody playing really fast and a brutal scream.
**11. A great song title and it does begin very metal sounding. Thrash sounds. Great breakdown/mosh part.
12. Fast. Heavy. Lots of growling vocals.
13. Halfway between spoken vocals and screams with the guttural vocals doing somewhat of a call-n-response. Metal guitar runs.
14. From quick and fast changing to a slower heavy riff and back again.
Great stuff! -mph
