Starlight and smoke from an acclaimed vocalist; smooth and laid back, with really husky vocals. Jazz combo, almost beat poetry sound: muted acoustic guitar, upright bass, heavy on the bongos. Or maybe it’s like soft bossa nova; lots of latinesque percussion and intricate rhythms. Most songs are pretty similar in feel: Seduction music? Some covers, some originals.
