More great stuff from the series. This one from 1966 focuses on religious music (‘rhyming spirituals” and anthems). Read the notes for more info…listen to track one and you’ll be sold. Great stuff, really.

3. Much too-short track w/cool male lead vox & great chorus.
*4. Wonderful bluesy-guitar and growling vocals.
5. A capella male vox in a secular work song.
6. Three male voices (great bass), in a gospel anthem.
7. Male/female vocal duet. Mid-tempo w/guitar.

9. Three male vocals, gets more melodic as it goes on.
