Seed Records

A first compilation for Seed Records (London). All of these artists are producing unique electronica each with a different style. Some sounds like IDM that would be released by Warp, some music you can dance to and some super mellow experimental jazz type stuff. All songs recommended. I highlighted the ones I liked the best. Seed records got their start by throwing block parties in London, and then they started releasing a few records. I wish artists like these would play at block parties in SF…

1)**Excellent dreamy electro with synths and varying beats (a la plaid).
2)2-step madness
3)**noisy dance music. Heavily distorted beats. So very very good.
4)Sqeaky beeps and boops, some drum beats, synths, robot voice.
5)Vocal sample is looped and beats are all over the place, but mostly settle to a single pace. Dancey.
6)*Mellow slow beats and soft synths, builds to faster heavier beats.
7)**FCC** Robot voice with beats and keyboards. Humorous in a way. Later on the beats get super creative, hard, and noisey at points.
8)* beats all over the place and twisted up. (a la AFX) good stuff. half way through a synth comes in.
9)tribal UFO music meets the Faint. Acid at a carnival. Keyboards, rapid beats, accordion melody.
10)Experimental jazz type stuff. Piano, light cymbals and other metal clanking sounds. Screeching sounds at points.
11)Mellow beat with other slippery beats on top. Some keyboards.
12)Violins, synths and evolving wet dripping beats. Pretty.
