Singer and composer of lush acoustic pop songs. The marketing namechecks Scott Walker. A better reference point might be Graeme Downes. Well-arranged (simply or orchestrally arranged, as appropriate) songs well sung and played. Even the orchestrated songs aren’t too over the top.

1. Lush ballad played with some reserve
2. Simple, country-ish feel with lap steel
3. Nice enough music but some of the rhymes are just atrocious (sample: “Oh my love, you’re a cut above, all the ones I’ve loved)
4. Mellow vibe + nice tune + low voice + twangy guitar solo = soporific
5. Sad and beautiful song about desperation
6. A country-folk feel again, what with the tasteful slide guitar
7. Almost peppy
8. Precious electric piano and muted electric guitar and low voice … Tindersticks anyone?
9. See #4 – maybe this is a bit more “poppy” – well, as poppy as something at 60 BPM can be
10. Instrumental
11. A pretty little waltz
