Strange living room Casio based weirdness, man woman duo, primarily wacky fem vocs, music ranges from noisy sample collage to quirky pop. Another example of the necessity for container ship quantities of Prozac down Tucson way. This duo is actually a pair of DJs on Tucson’s pirate station “Radio Limbo” (the only decent non-com radio there). A fine example of the cultural benefits of cheap and easy to use home recording devices. Some of this can be annoying at times but at least its truly entertaining, unlike your average crappy electroclash band du jour.
1) screwy start, 60 sec, picks up noisy casio, finally gets going after 1:20
2) weird faux 40’s lounge jazz, fem vocs
3) upbeat noisy w/ guits, hooky
4) silly casio feel w/ rockin breaks
5) silly casio w/ strange vocs, buried FCCs “shit”
6) darker theme w/ eurotrash electro feel, watch false ending followed by weird noises and spoken thing
7) way sarcastic poke at drama, cover of Daughter of Darkness
8) upbeat, cool
9) karaoke over Lawrence Welk, psycho chick of your dreams, admit it, bub
10-12) need to be played together: great drinking song cover, excellent, however track 12 finds the end then it goes into some silly sampling of soul music and then some hilarious banter between Bebe and Serge, which actually ends in the first half second of track 13, so best to just leave continuous and pot down
13) dorky disco rap, two FCCs (“shit”) ends about 4 min in, 2 min silence, then brief hidden track
