Conducted improvisations for a large ensemble, a la Butch Morris. The group is heavy with strings, for an orchestral feeling -- lots of swirling chaos kept under rein by Tsahar.
Overall the pieces progress in big, slow motions, with quiet patches interrupted by surges in sound. Tsahar does a pretty good job of keeping the changes from being too abrupt.
1*- Contemplative; builds calmly
2- Lurking and quiet with jazzy trombone soloing
3- Quiet
4- String quartet feel (sextet, really)
5- Big and loud, featuring fast trumpet solos
6*- Bouncy trumpet
7*- Mystic flute and strings
8- Slow moaning / fast jazzy middle / soft finish
9*- Mid/fast, after slow melodic start
