Local band, so bonus points for that. Kinda artsy, trippy, almost stoner-like, so bonus points for that. A little punk, a little garage-rock, a little out-of-key singing, some screamed, almost death-metal vox, so bonus points for that. None of the songs lasts more than three minutes (in fact, the whole CD is just 18 minutes long), so bonus points for that. Horror movies, nightmares, death, zombies, the undead, and so forth are the main themes around which everything revolves, so bonus points for that. On the whole, this is punk, with some strong, strong goth and metal influences, as well as just a lot of love for the darker things in life. Think Rob Zombie meets the Vines/Hives/Strokes/Murderdolls/Misfits/Ramones meets some NYHC band meets whoever the fuck else, this is all over the place. I’d add this, and play it, and I think these guys would be loads of fun to watch play live.
