Spare beats. Intersection of minimal techno and glitch, more minimal than glitch. Solo project from England.
All tracks good, fave (4). FCC clean.

from https://machinewoman.bandcamp.com/album/when-elegance-becomes-violence : "The EP delves into themes exploring human behavior both online and offline, the delicate palette of breakbeat techno, and the transformative journey of aging. As the EP’s title implies, transformations can be dramatic and entrenched elegant qualities in oneself can become violent overnight, whether in terms of your look, your mindset or your ability to connect with others. Through this ambiguous intersection of Woman and Machine comes a playful danceable impulse and a tracky focus which will give DJs plenty to work with even as they edge the errant frequencies and twitchy rhythms into the mix."

1. dry beat with minimal melodic flourishes
2. catchy glitch beats with no melody. Good backing track for your mic break.
3. voices chopped to make tones and textures, words not discernible. Sly, subdued.
4. fast quiet beat/pops, and voices with words this time, not enough to call lyrics though. Builds with mid-bass synths and danceable flourishes.
5. “Yes mate, let’s get some beat” loops the time-stretched intro, then a cool relaxed bass beat begins.
