Lush indie rock with a country twang. This sixth studio album from Asheville singer-songwriter Angel Olson, whose previous releases have gotten quite a bit of play on KZSU. Full of tender songwriting and expertly produced by Jonathan Wilson (of Laurel Canyon revival fame). This release was coupled with a 28-min film, which pairs perfectly with its cinematic atmosphere.
