Droning improvisations for guitar and lap steel. If you're standing in a vast, quiet plain during the golden hour, this music is the breeze rolling toward you across the landscape. RIYL Chuck Johnson, William Tyler, Talk West, Stars of the Lid, Ry Cooder's soundtrack to "Paris, Texas." Favorite: 2 (but all are great). No words, no FCCs. 1. (19:36)—Starts quiet and builds very slowly. Gets dense and a little distorted, with some dissonant chiming sounds in the final five minutes. 2. *(16:48)—Similar to track 1, but more peaceful and restrained. Warm, glassy, quietly immense. 3.
