Soft, melancholy, perfect lo-fi songs made with just acoustic guitar, voice, and some vocal overdubs. From the gracefully compact and sweetly heartbroken songwriting to the recording hiss, this music almost could've come from an alternate version of the 1920s. A must for fans of Sibylle Baier, Nick Drake, Adrianne Lenker, Gareth Dickson. (Also see Lana Lou's previous EP, Quiet American, filed under "Lani Lou.") Favorites: 1, 5.
