In his 2nd release, this guitar virtuoso and Zoo DJ expands his sound with a full band resulting in an impressive jazz infused rock sound. His singer-songwriter core is still there but the well polished band, which includes strong piano and sax players form a great bed for his jazzy guitar work and unique vocal styling. Add to that clever lyrics, e.g. she's the 'queen of hearts but she'll call your bluff' and interesting arrangements and you've got a disk that would fit any rock or indie show. Earn yourself some DJ bragging rights by spinning him before he makes that Swift woman look small time.
RIYL: Robert Plant, Tommy Bolin
